This weekend I definitely threaded the needle with timing. I just about put the needle through a finger but made it clear right up to Saturday Night church. (Of course, that doesn’t include my irregular time of posting this note)
God clearly has a different clock than I. Although I insist on giving Him the advice I think He needs, my time seems to most always be “incorrect”. I can schedule mass labor, organize huge efforts of materials & contracts, seclude and isolate clientele for the win.., but in my OWN TIME WAR, how often am I late?
What I picked up on this weekend is not only how important punctuality is the manage 24 hours in a day, but also, how some things we spend time on simply do not matter. “Invest in yourself” is a common leadership trait however time spent on others may find you fuller. Yes you need a break and meditation and personal space but the true investments are that of which you share in relationship.
Time won’t matter in Heaven, but who you helped to get there will! Don’t be late to that!
