2 Corinthians 9:6
6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
Where are you this week? About the middle of the field? Are you in the middle of a struggle, a new beginning, victory? Wherever you’re at, you have to be all in to expect positive results. Only being half in to any attempt can lead to the greatest upsets. Your mind must remain dedicated, as Luke 16:13 reminds “No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”
If we have that struggle to overcome, whether an individual, battling unhealthy habit, or predicament, think on who it is that goes before you. Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear? The lord is the stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid” and Isaiah 41:13 “For I am the lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you.” Sometimes I have to think, take a moment of prayer, and just hold my own hand or chest, putting into motion physically, that I’m embracing the Lords hands between mine, or next to my chest. Take the moments to remember who it is going with you.
New beginnings, Isaiah 43:18-19 says “Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” Move on and start again, don’t get held back by those thoughts of insecurity.
So if we want to be successful, even though you may be equipped, make sure God is your team captain. “The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord” Proverbs 21:31, and Isaiah 41:13 “For I am the lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you.”
If we want great results we have to put in the back room studies, the practice, eat right , and live right! We need to collect all the wisdom we can from wise counsel. In all these things we need to sow heartily, as unto the Lord! It His word, have we hidden it in our hearts, that we might not sin against Him?
We want his touchdown, be all in and He’ll see us through to it! Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57.
Lord, thank you for your word and help us apply all of it to our days and see us to the end. We love you and will give you all the glory for it, Amen.
